Arruabarrena Falls 31 Spots In The Rankings

Arruabarrena Falls 31 Spots

WEEK: 09.25.2017

The mover of the week honors goes to Lara Arruabarrena, she won the Korea Open in 2016; however, this year she lost in the first round and was unable to defend her ranking points. Arruabarrena will want to avoid falling out of the top 100 otherwise she may have to go through the qualifying draw to get into the main draw of the first major, the Australian Open, in 2018. As it stands right now, she will have to go through the qualifying rounds to get into the main draw of the smaller tournaments, which usually takes a tremendous physical toll because there is usually no day of rest in between each round.
