Andreas Seppi is the mover of the week. At 33 years old, he has been battling his way back up the rankings as he too has been recovering from injury. Once ranked as high as number 18, the Italian is finding it is not so easy to regain his form; however, he is still a threat. He has started this season on a more positive note, getting to the round of sixteen at the Australian Open and recently the semifinals at the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament. He is hoping that he will continue to improve on this form. Although Seppi has not won a title in singles since 2012; he will continue to fight to get back to that form that made him a contender.

ATP Tour: Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer traded positions, with Federer now the oldest male player to be ranked number one. Alexander Zverev and Grigor Dimitrov also traded positions again. Kevin Anderson is back in the top ten at #9 and Juan Martin Del Potro fell to #10. Pablo Carreno Busta is no longer in the top ten.
WTA Tour: Caroline Wozniacki remains atop the rankings at #1; Garbine Muguruza and Elina Svitolina traded positions. Julia Goerges fell out of the top ten and was replaced by Petra Kvitova in the #10 spot.
