Coco Gauff Steals The Show

WIMBLEDON, Great Britain

DAY ONE SEEDED UPSETS

[2] Naomi Osaka (JPN) lost to her nemesis for the third consecutive time in straight sets. Although Osaka went up an early break in the first set, she never seemed quite comfortable with the lead and [46] Yulia Putintseva (KAZ) gradually worked her way back into the match and then simply rattled her opponent to take the 7-6(4), 6-2 victory.
