Mover Of The Week: Aslan Karatsev

The benefits of going deep in a major are multifactorial.  Aslan Karatsev found that out when he got to the first semifinals of his career, which was at a major.  The pride of playing your best on the biggest stages has to be right up there.  Now you know and can believe with conviction that you have enough game to compete with the best.

Then there is the financial boost that comes from going deep in the draw.  Money that allows you to strengthen your skills, perhaps get a trainer, and better coach. But we cannot forget the importance of the ranking points gained that now gets you into more tournaments without having to go through the qualifying rounds.
