Tristan Boyer defeated James Duckworth and is moving into the second round. Boyer won 6-3, 7-5, 6-4. Jenson Brooksby had a battle on his hands against Aleksandar Vukic. It was a five-set battle for Brooksby, who squeaked by with the 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 victory. Nice win for Ann Li, who defeated Rebecca Sramkova 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.
