Learner Tien At Career High Following Beijing Final

Learner Tien

Learner Tien first came to my attention at the 2025 Australian Open. I said much would be expected of this new rising talent. Well, Tien is delivering. It has not been all smooth sailing for the American; however, his game and form are developing nicely. He made it to his first ATP singles final at the China Open, losing to the number one ranked player, Jannik Sinner.

Learner Tien Almost Won His First Title

Learner Tien is still a teenager. He turned professional in 2023. Tien is doing well on the ATP Tour. His junior career was remarkable for winning the Boys’ 18s National Hard Courts title at the age of 16 and 17. Now that he is in the top fifty, I expect to see a step up in his performance and results in the 2026 season. Will he win his first ATP singles title in 2026?
