Bryan brothers keep hope alive

Davis Cup, Glasgow                                                                                                            World Group 1st Round

2014 BRYANSDay 2, Rubber 3: Bob and Mike Bryan (USA) vs. Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot (GBR)

It was deja-vu, almost, the brothers went up two sets easily and then ran into the resistance of a determined British team.  What happened?  The British team found their rhythm and buoyed by the home crowd won the next two sets.  There was a moment of panic for the Americans as match point went by. Could the brothers turn things around and stave off elimination?

The final set of any match tests the mettle of the players, the one who succumbs to the pressure is usually the one that has struggled most to hold serve.  J. Murray cracked under the weight of expectation and lost his serve again. The brothers took advantage, keeping hope alive with a 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-7(8), 9-7 victory; however, will John Isner be able to beat Andy Murray tomorrow?
