RANKING CHANGES FOR THE WEEK OF 03.19.2018

Danielle Collins gets the honors as mover of the week with her impressive showing at the BNP Paribas Open. She was one match win away from getting to the biggest quarterfinals of career; however, she ran into the veteran, Carla Suarez Navarro. While Collins received a wild card for the Indian Wells tournament, she will have to earn her berth in the main draw of the Miami Open, which starts today. She is hoping that she can build on her form from the desert and with her improving confidence get another opportunity to showcase her talent in another significant tournament main draw.

 ATP Tour:  while the top five seeds remained the same and maintained their positions from the previous week; the bottom five seeds of the top ten had some re-shuffling. Juan Martin Del Potro moved up two spots to #6; Dominic Thiem moved down one spot to #7; Kevin Anderson moved up one spot to #8; David Goffin moved down two spots to #9; Jack Sock fell out of the top ten and was replaced by Lucas Pouille, who makes his top ten debut at #10.

WTA Tour: there were no changes in the top ten members; however, Jelena Ostapenko (#5) and Karolina Pliskova (#6) traded places.
