Ferrer’s Ranking Takes A Hit

David Ferrer's ranking

SIGNIFICANT RANKING CHANGES FOR THE WEEK OF 07.23.2018

David Ferrer gets the mover of the week honors this week; unfortunately for the Spaniard, he was unable to defend his title in Bastad from the previous year and his ranking took another dip. He is one of the hardest workers on the tennis court; yet, he continues to struggle following his return from foot injury to find his top form.

With all the changes happening in his life recently, one wonders just how committed is he to tennis. Despite this recent set back, Ferrer will continue to fight to regain his place amongst the top echelon of tennis and probably will continue to fight until the day his body can no longer give him the results that he wants. At thirty-six, the question is how many more years does he have realistically, especially when his game is based on his defensive skills?
