July was a lucky month for four players: two men and two women won their first career singles title. No doubt they were ecstatic that all their sacrifice and hard work have begun to bear fruit. Nikoloz Basilashvili made history with his victory. Olga Danilovic, a seventeen year old from Serbia, skyrocketed up the rankings by 75 spots to 112. If Danilovic keeps playing as well as she did to win the title in Moscow as a lucky loser, she will crack the top one hundred before the 2018 season ends.
