Sugita’s Ranking Continues To Slide

Sugita's

SIGNIFICANT RANKING CHANGES FOR THE WEEK OF 08.20.2018

Yuichi Sugita gets the unenviable honors as the mover of the week due to a string of early round losses. He lost valuable ranking points when he was unable to defend his quarterfinal showing at the Western & Southern Open last week. He was also unable to defend his title in Antalya earlier this season in June after losing in the second round. His loss of form as often is the case is the result of injury and he continues to struggle to regain his form from last season. With the season more than half over, he has a lot of work to do if he wants to stay in the top hundred at the end of the year.
