Nuria Parrizas Diaz Finally Cracks The Top 100

Nuria Parrizas Diaz

Camila Giorgi should have been the mover of the week; however, I decided at the last minute to make Nuria Parrizas Diaz the mover of the week. What makes this player so interesting to me is that she has persevered outside the top hundred since 2011.

Nuria Parrizas Diaz Makes The Top 100

At the age of thirty, she gets to a career high of ninety-six. She won three consecutive ITF events at the beginning of this season. Then she won three more, making it six ITF events won in 2021. What made her persevere when the results were missing despite her putting the work? Why did she persist ten years later without breaking into the top hundred or winning a WTA tour title? Only Nuria Parrizas Dias knows the answer to these questions.

Yet, I commend her for persevering. She has a goal and remains committed despite the obstacles. Thirty is the new twenty and if she stays healthy, perhaps she will get that first WTA title.
