MOVER OF THE WEEK: Felix Auger-Aliassime

mover week

Eighteen-year-old Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime gets the honors of mover of the week with his impressive run to the semifinals of the Miami Open. The Canadian almost made it to the final; however, his lack of experience in such a pressure packed situation was his undoing. Auger-Aliassime had both sets on his racquet but he fell victim to that age-old thing known as nerves. He played the sets brilliantly until it was time to serve for the sets. Although he did not get to the final, he made history at the Miami Open and I expect he will learn from this experience and be better prepared the next time. The Canadian soared up the rankings to number thirty-three and is currently the youngest player in the top fifty.
