Harriet Dart gets the mover of the week honors with her performance this past week at the BNP Paribas Open. The British player made it to the fourth round before losing to the American, Madison Keys. This was a great effort from Dart. It was also a big result for the Brit on one of the biggest stages outside of the majors.
Dart’s Effort Gets Her Big Ranking Boost
This effort from the British player helped her to crack the top hundred for the first time in her career. The question as usual is, “Will she build on this going forward?” No doubt that is the hope of every player, to grow with each experience.
Harriet Dart No Stranger To Big Stages
At twenty-five years old, Harriet Dart still has time to gain some traction in the rankings; however, she needs to start being more consistent with the positive gains. She knows how to go deep in the draw on the biggest of stages. She was a mixed doubles finalist at Wimbledon in 2021. Thus, the talent is there, now she just has to string it together week in and week out.

ATP & WTA Top 10 Rankings
ATP: there were some significant changes in the top ten. Hubert Hurkacz is back in the top ten, replacing Jannik Sinner at #10. The top four players are: [1] Novak Djokovic; [2] Daniil Medvedev; [3] Rafael Nadal; [4] Alexander Zverev.
WTA: there were some reshufflings amongst the top ten members, but there were no new members. The top four members are: [1] Ashleigh Barty; [2] Iga Swiatek; [3] Maria Sakkari; and [4] Barbora Krejcikova.
Top 4 American Men And Women
Taylor Fritz leads the way at number thirteen. Reilly Opelka follows at number eighteen, John Isner comes in at twenty-two, and Frances Tiafoe takes the fourth spot at thirty-one. The last American man to be in the top ten was John Isner on May 27th, 2019, at number ten.
On the women’s side it’s Danielle Collins at number eleven, Cori “Coco” Gauff at seventeen, Jessica Pegula at twenty-one and Madison Keys brings up the rear at twenty-six.
