Francisco Cerundolo is back in the top hundred with his scintillating performance at the Miami Open. He made it all the way to the semifinals before Casper Ruud, ruudly derailed his plans. The twenty-three-year-old Argentinian will look to ride this wave to his first singles title this season. Interesting tidbit, Francisco Cerundolo has a younger brother [20 years old], who is currently ranked 117. They both turned professional in 2018.

ATP & WTA Top 10 Changes

ATP: there were some momentous changes in the top ten, Cameron Norrie cracks the top ten at #10 for the first time in his career and Jannik Sinner fell out of the top ten. The top four players are: [1] Novak Djokovic; [2] Daniil Medvedev; [3] Alexander Zverev; and [4] Rafael Nadal.

WTA: the WTA top ten rankings have been completely shaken up with the retirement of Ashleigh Barty. This week we celebrate a new number one, twenty-year-old Iga Swiatek. As a result, there were some reshufflings amongst the top ten members. Danielle Collins is back in the top ten at #8. The top four members are: [1] Iga Swiatek; [2] Barbora Krejcikova; [3] Paula Badosa; and [4] Maria Sakkari.

Top Four Ranked American Men & Women

Taylor Fritz leads the way at number thirteen. Reilly Opelka comes in second at number eighteen. John Isner takes the third spot at number twenty-seven, with Frances Tiafoe in the fourth spot at number thirty.  The last American man to be in the top ten was John Isner on May 27th in 2019, at number ten.

Danielle Collins takes the first spot at number eight. Jessica Pegula takes the second spot at number thirteen. Cori “Coco” Gauff and Madison Keys take the third and four spots at number fifteen and twenty-four, respectively.
