Martina Trevisan Gets To Career High Of 27

Martina Trevisan

Martina Trevisan continues to have the season of her career in 2022. The twenty-eight-year-old Italian won her first career WTA singles title earlier this year in Rabat. She then followed that up by getting to her first major semifinal at Roland Garros.

What We Learned About Martina Trevisan

The Italian, despite her diminutive stature, showed us she has the heart of a lion. She has been on tour professionally since 2008. This alone tells us about her fighting spirit and perseverance. She also fought and battled through every match at Roland Garros. At times it was the opponent, other times it was the weather conditions, injury, and even herself. Through it all she fought until she was stopped by Coco Gauff.
