Tatjana Maria is the Cinderella story of the 2022 Championships Wimbledon. A mother of two, who barely played much tennis in the last two years, she sliced and diced her way into her first major semifinals. Maria played her first major in 2007 and never got any further than the second round. Today she battled fellow countrywomen, Jule Niemeier, and won 4-6, 6-2, 7-5.
