Novak Djokovic Drops Out Of The Top 4

Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic drops to number seven despite winning his twenty-first major title. Why? Djokovic lost his ranking points from last year’s victory and even though he successfully defended his title, Wimbledon did not award points this year to any of the participants. The result, some players will see significant changes in their rankings.

Novak Djokovic Narrows The Gap

The race is one for who will win the most majors at the end of their career. At thirty-five years old, Djokovic may out last Rafael Nadal. Nadal has been battling injuries his entire career; however, at thirty-six years old, it seems his body is falling apart. On the doorsteps of potentially winning his third major and keeping his hope alive for The Grand Slam, Nadal’s body succumbed to injury once again. How much more can the Spaniard take before he calls it quits and retires?
